Vision Statement:
“Our vision at WildScape Design LLC is to inspire a world where communities thrive in harmony with nature, embracing sustainable practices that empower individuals and enhance biodiversity. We envision vibrant landscapes that nurture independence and resilience, creating a future where every person feels connected to the earth and committed to preserving its resources for generations to come.”
Kaitlyn McCabe, founder of WildScape Design LLC, has been deeply connected to the earth and her community from a young age. A graduate of Appalachian State University with a bachelor’s degree in Sustainable Development, Kaitlyn blends academic insight with hands-on experience gained through her work at the university’s Sustainable Development Farm. This foundation shaped her lifelong mission: to help people live in balance with the land while restoring ecological health.
Before launching WildScape Design, Kaitlyn spent three years as a sustainable garden consultant, designing resilient, regenerative landscapes that work in harmony with nature. Her work reaffirmed a core belief—that meaningful local action can create lasting global impact.
Kaitlyn is especially passionate about addressing the environmental consequences of modern gardening practices, such as the overuse of synthetic inputs that contribute to harmful water pollution and ecosystem decline. Through WildScape Design, she helps clients replace those systems with natural, sustainable alternatives that support biodiversity, soil vitality, and clean water.
At the heart of Kaitlyn’s work is empowerment: helping individuals and communities grow their own nourishment, cultivate resilience, and reconnect with the natural world. Each garden she designs is a step toward a healthier planet and a more sustainable future for all.
